My Curls Received a Stamp of Approval- Curls are Memorable!

Hi curlies,

I took a trip to the post office today to pick up a book of stamps.  I asked the postwoman if she had any african american stamps available today because I like to ensure that these don't stop circulating, so I frequently request these stamps.  I handed the postwoman my debit card along with my identification.  Before she looked at my i.d. she said
"Oh, I remember you.  I remember your hair, it's beautiful!"  I responded "thank you".  It was such a nice complement.  I stared at the african american woman on the stamps and I could relate to her.  She was an educator and author as reported by the united states postal service.  I enjoy reading the history on the back of these stamps.  I also related to her bold features, large nose, full lips, and a beautiful updo.  Her hair looked straight but I wondered if it was pressed or all natural underneath.  Hum, I may never know, I do know that it looked beautiful on her.  I do know that, I love that fact that my hair is unique in its own right.  It's not straight, but curly in some places, kinky in others, thicker in one section, longer on one side, but altogether unique.  It stands out and it's memorable!  I give my curls a stamp of approval!
