I noticed that one of the make-up artists (Viola Nicholson) was wearing a beautiful lipgloss with a hint of color. Her make-up looked so natural. When she asked if she could help me find something I instantly let her know that I wanted to add a hint of color to my lips for the winter. For the past year I've been wearing a nice almost clear gloss. She told me to have a seat and began by applying some foundation to my lips. Next she added 2 shades of lipgloss which warmed my lip color and made my lip look a little plumper than normal ( I loved it!). She then proceeded to say that she wanted to finish out the look, and added some highlights under my cheeks, along the side of my nose, and along my hairline. She topped it off with some mascara to lengthen my lashes. The overall look was beautifully natural with a nice hint of warmth all over. Viola asked me if I had heard of Sam Fine, and she told me that he is known for utilizing his makeup techniques on stars like Veronica Webb, Queen Latifah, Tyra Banks. She told me that the key is to use a great technique when applying makeup.
Well I surely learned some techniques on tonight while visiting the Bobbi Brown counter. I came home and duplicated the lip technique with my Iman foundation stick and 2 of my clinique glosses. I so love it. I got the technique- at least for the lip that is. Oh and before I left she let me know that she was all natural as well. I was elated. She confirmed it yall, natural hair and great makeup go hand in hand!

Very pretty makeup. Your hair is so beautiful; looks shiny and healthy. I'd love to learn how to apply makeup. Never been one to wear it so it's totally foreign to me. Some people make it look so easy =)
