Veggie Burger and Home Made Fries

Hi faithful readers, I wanted to share a meal that I prepared.  I dusted off my potato peeler and decided to peel potatoes and make large fries from scratch yall.  Since the only oil in my kitchen is olive oil  ( Did you spot my large bottle of olive oil in the background? I believe in buying some things in bulk.
I pour some into a smaller bottle and use it on my hair.  I keep the large container in the kitchen for cooking), you can rest assured that I fried my thickly sliced potato wedges in olive oil.  Next I pulled out the Boca burgers.  I love my food to have flavor, therefore I melted butter in the skillet before heating up my Boca burgers.  I cooked the Boca burgers and placed it on wheat bread.  Next I added pickles, ketchup, mustard, a 1/2 a slice of low-fat cheese, and some lettuce on the side (sometimes I add some sauteed mushrooms).  I declare it's just as good as a regular burger used to taste to me.  I think it's all in the toppings and flavor that you add.  My family loved this meal and with a pinch of salt on the fries and little ketchup to the fries, this meal was "off the chain".  Let's see my family got a meal chuck with vegetables, fiber, and some calcium.

P.S.  If you read yesterdays post my daughter was rocking a beautiful twistout and I wanted to see how long it lasted.  The answer is 2 days.  Day 2 of my daughter's twistout today was wearable, but it was somewhat puffy around the front of her hairline.  The back and sides were pretty well defined.  Tonight I   misted her hair with water/ oil/ conditioner mix and then twisted a piece on the side.  I will more than likely place the rest of her hair into a bun.
