Barbara of Barbaranaturallyspeaking launched new products at the BGLH Event!

I could hardly sleep last night guys.  I introduced my new products on today at the BGLH natural hair meetup.  I have satin beauty cases, which are satin pillow cases in chocolate satin and pink satin.  Each of my cases come with instructions on how to create a particular night time hairstyle to keep your curls cute.  Satin pillow cases are great for maintaining your natural hair style at night.  They also help to maintain moisture, unlike cotton which pulls moisture away.  I also have a new DVD titled "Preservation Hairstyles for Sleeping", which showcases how to do various nighttime hairstyles so that you can maintain your style overnight.  I love satin cases because they also help you to look good at night, especially if you want to ditch the stocking cap or scarf.  I also gave away goodie bags and hosted a raffle for a pillow case and free DVD.  I love preserving my hair and wanted to create something that helps one to preserve the hair at night so that mornings are carefree.  When I was a little girl my mother made a lot of me and my sisters clothes.  She taught me how to sew as a kid.  She still enjoys sewing at the age of 75.  She actually made these pillowcases, I just cut the fabric.  It reminded me of my childhood.  I added the directions and there we have "Satin Beauty Cases".  I call them home made cases made with love.  I am so grateful for 2 great people that came out to help at my table.  My long time friend Tosha and Toya came out to support my cause.  Tosha had to leave slightly before the end of the event and I didn't do table photos until later.  But here is Tosha rocking her natural at a recent get together.  Here we are below:

I'm also grateful to "Tina's Task-it Baskets and Events on a Budget"  for my table design and product presentation.  Lots of people stopped to see the deco in pink and brown and lets just say that I only have 2 items left for my giveaway.  Shout out to Leila owner of www.bglhonline.com for hosting such a wonderful event for natural haired women.  Last but not least I'm grateful for my husband, as he's been patient while I worked on my blog and products.  I also showed my appreciation for his patience by placing his book "Unwrapping the Box" on my table.  Faithful people truly make a difference.  There were 100's of natural haired women at the event today and I was overwhelmed with the beauty and tips shared.  I will post more photos throughout the week, including a natural haired blogger/celebrity that was present.  Her screen name starts with Afro....  Guess who?  (OMG  I had a great day!)
