A Comfortable Hairstyle for Travel Via Plane

Hi curlies.  I really wanted to share my experience with my natural hair when traveling via airplane a few weeks ago.  Before boarding the plane, I thought about how I needed to style my hair for a comfortable ride.  I considered wearing my hair in a puff or bun.  I'm glad I took time to think about it, because I'm the same person that removes my scrunchies at the movies.  There's no way to comfortably relax with a low bun or afro puff pressing against the back of the seat.  I definitely didn't want any neck pain, so I decided to wear my hair out.  In other words, I released an old braid out.

Before heading to the airport, I scrunched in some coconut oil, fluffed my hair, and that was it.  I was able to relax and sleep for most of the trip home.  My favorite hairstyle for plane travel or any travel where I'm sitting upright, involves wearing my hair out.  When it comes to rest, a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.
