OK, so Saturday night came and I decided to turn my "Wash and go" with Tresemme Naturals Conditioner into two strand twists to be worn in a twist out on Sunday morning. I misted my hair with water and then added a dime sized amount of conditioner to my hair. I divided my hair into 4 quadrants. Next I divided each quadrant into 2 parts length wise and then made 3 twists along each lengthy part. I ended up with 6 twists per quadrant with a total of 24 two strand twists. I was impressed that without gel my twists looked shiny, moist and plump. Here's a side view in the light. It's amazing that you can see the hints of henna in my hair when the light hits my twists. The next day I released my "conditioner only twists" and left a few tendrils hanging loosely near the front of my face and pulled the back up into a ponytail for church (Sorry I forgot to snap pics of the twist out style, however it looked similar to the updo at the end of my How to do a Wash and go video.
Yep, Tresemme Naturals conditioner is a winner! I think I may twist my daughters hair this weekend with conditioner only and see how long it lasts, or if I add gel it may be just a little. I'll keep you posted.
Have you used Tresemme Naturals conditioner or any conditioner to do two strand twists without gel or with gel? How long did your twists last?
I use Tresemme Naturals, and I love the results...my twists lasted for about a few days. Great post. Thanks for sharing! Your twist look nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know how long your twists last with Tresemme Naturals and for your complement! I'm looking forward to twisting my daughters hair soon and leaving it twisted to see how long it lasts.
