I've been trying out some new products lately. I've heard so much hoopla about "Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner" that I had to give it a try. I've heard people raving about it as a co-wash conditioner as well as a leave-in conditioner. On Saturday I decided to give it a try. I cowashed with Tresemme Naturals. As soon as I started co-washing I knew instantly why everyone was raving about this conditioner. I declare, my hair felt like butter, completely smooth. After co-washing I squeezed the excess water from my hair and then finger combed some of the Tresemme through my hair as a leave-in and styler. I usually apply gel to my hair, however today I wanted to see how this conditioner looked without using gel on my hair. I also decided to give finger coiling a try. If you've been following my blog, you're aware that my hair hangs more in the front and shrinks more in the back. I took my finger and rolled a few of the longer pieces of hair around my face in a downward motion as if I had an imaginary roller in my hand and then slowly released my fingers from the curl. These are the resulting fingercoils right around my hairline.

Finger coils with Tresemme Naturals Conditioner resulted in Springy Curls |
I was amazed that finger coils worked to make those longer pieces of hair around the front blend better with the sides and back of my hair. Wow! Secondly a wash and go with just Tresemme Naturals Conditioner turned out awesome! Honestly when it dried it looked just like my hair looks with gel. It was extremely glossy and moisturized. The avocado oil in this product is amazing! By the end of the day it didn't have as much hold as a wash and go with gel, however it still looked defined. It never got real big or poofy with just the Tresemme Naturals Conditioner as a styler. I love this conditioner!

wash and go with Tresemme naturals conditioner as leave-in and styler |
Visually: This conditioner is white in color. It reminds me of lotion.
Tactile/ Touch: This conditioner has a lotion like feel. When I rub it between two fingers it feels like it's chuck full of moisture and it has a slippery feel.
Smell: It smells like citrus. It was a little stronger than my liking as I'm extremely sensitive to smells, however I can live with it because it was great in every other way. The scent tended to fade some as my hair dried, however if you're using it as a leave in and you're sensitive to strong smells you may want to try a sample of this before purchasing an entire bottle.
Ingredients: Water, caprylic/capric triglyceride, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, persea gratissima (avocado) oil, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, brassica campestris/ aleurites fordi oil, copolymer, fragrance, caprylyl glycol, aspartic acide, lauroyl lysine, distearyldimonium chloride, benzyl alcohol citric acid.
Directions from bottle: 1. Always start with Tresemme naturals nourishing moisture shampoo. 2. Apply an adequate amount of conditioner from mid-shaft to ends first. Work anything that's left through the roots. 2. Leave on for 2-3 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. 4. Finish your look with tresemme naturals lightweight mousse and finishing spray.
My View: I really like "Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner". I definitely tweeked the directions, because I used this conditioner to co-wash and then as a leave in conditioner. I fingercoiled the front section and then allowed my hair to airdry.
Have you tried Tresemme Naturals Conditoner or any conditioner as your styler? Was it a "go" or a "no"? Do share....
