I couldn't help but take this picture. A few weeks ago my family and I stopped at "Gamestop" to see what all the hoopla was about concerning the new Skylander's Giants. These are the characters that you sit on a portal and they actually port into the game. My boys have the smaller ones, however they've been asking about seeing the giants. Well, while at the store I turned my head for 1 second and looked back to see my husband doing something that I would typically do. He saw a little piece of lint in my daughter's hair and instantly began moving it down the strand of her hair. I love this man, and it put a smile on my face when I saw him using patience, and taking time to make sure that my daughter's hair was looking it's very best. Natural hair can attract lint. Imagine thick hair plus oil, yep whatever flies near may just get trapped there. I had even more respect for my hubby that day. He can't style her hair, but I can definitely say that he's a great father that doesn't mind assisting with my daughter's natural hair maintenance.
Shout out to dad's that help with their daughter's natural hair maintenance in some form or fashion! Can you relate or share any stories of your hubby assisting with your child's hair maintenance?
Has anyone purchased the new "Skylander's Giants"? If so, what's the main difference between the new version and the older version?
This is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteIt brings back memories of my dad doing me and my sisters hair. He was no expert, but his big hands could get our thick hair into the BOMB ponytails LOL!
Thanks for sharing Kandy! Good to hear that you have great memories of your dad getting your hair into a ponytail. Double shout out to dad's that help with hair maintenance.
