Puzzle Creations

I was looking through some pics from December 2011 and found this picture of my daughter.  She had asked could she work on a puzzle while I fixed dinner.  Even though she can put puzzles together well, she took her time to do something different and creative with her puzzle.  Instead of putting the pieces together to match the box, she arranged the pieces into the shape of a pumpkin.  It was so beautiful, creative, and unique.  I hugged her and told her how beautiful her pumpkin puzzle creation was.  It even had this glow due to the number of bright pink and orange pieces.  It reminded me of how one can take something simple and creatively give it a new essence. Hairstyles are similar, as a simple style can be creatively redesigned into a different work of art.  Creative redesign can apply to all areas of life.  In short, all I can truly say is "Creativity comes naturally to some".

I know that everyone has a creative side deep down inside.  Can you share an example of how you've used creativity to yield a different result from the norm?

P.S.  Puzzles are known to enhance brain development.  Puzzles can also enhance memory and fine motor skills in children.  I use them frequently with children who are working on speech and language skills.  Puzzles are great as a vocabulary building activity.  You can find puzzles at local stores such as Dollar Tree and Target.  I've actually found some of the same puzzles sold at Target including 3-D puzzles, at Dollar Tree.

I almost forgot to mention that my daughter was wearing her hair in braids with beads to match her uniform in the picture above.
