Loving Our Natural Hair Curl Clinic Recap

We had an awesome time at the Curl Clinic this Saturday!  The event was loaded with transitioners and naturalistas with questions about products, covering gray, and maintenance.  The four of us pictured above answered questions from the audience.  The event started off with some awesome speakers.  Nia a hairstylist and blogger along with Dominique, owner of Skin Deep Bodycare got things started with info. on natural hair.  They reviewed the 411 on product ingredients, cleansing, detangling, and styling.  This was followed up by a hair style demonstration by natural stylist Michelle of Christian Fields Style Bar.  The question/ answer panel was opened and we listened to, collaborated, and responded to numerous questions.  I also had my satin pillowcase giveaway and will be announcing the winner at the end of this post.  Here are some more pics from the event.

The event was fun and informative!  I have to give a shout out to Sonya of Growing Homes Inc. for inviting me out as a panelist.  I also have to give a shout out to the two natural kiddos pictured above.  That's my daughter and nephew.  They were my assistants with set up and my daughter was my model for natural hair.  For all of those that asked about achieving her style remember her bang is a twist out, and the back was air dried into a curly puff.  Thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday!!
