Hey curlies and straight haired divas! I had an awesome time speaking and participating in the Curl Clinic at Englewood! There was a nice turnout of ladies asking questions about their natural hair. There were many resources to learn about within the community, including health screenings, free counseling sessions, jewelry vending, services for children, food, and bus tours of community gardens. It was a great event! Below you'll see some of the pics from the Curl Clinic.

Dominique featured above was one of the speakers on natural hair care and natural products for hair and body. She is the owner of Skin Deep Natural Body Care. Check out her site to learn about the products that she offered. She also shared her story about dealing with eczema and told how her products help moisturize her skin without all the harsh chemicals that previously caused break outs when she relied on store brought products without natural ingredients in the past.
Several people signed up to enter a giveaway for a free "Barbara Naturally Speaking" Satin Pillow Case. The winner was the 10th person to sign up and take a pic for my website showcasing their lovely hair.
