Today is day 5 of a "Mixed Chicks Leave In Conditioner Wash And Go". When I don't use gel, my curls are soft and touchable. My hair just expands at a great speed and gets larger and larger each day. Day 1 hair starts off looking like the coveted day 2 or day 3 hair, on natural hair with gel added. Day 2 and Day 3 hair just means that the hair has stretched and shows more length, instead of looking more shrunken or crunchy from a fresh gel application. I love the volume of natural hair, however I'm starting to think that day 6 will be my day to bun or spray with water and add two twists.
