This Pic was taken days ago. My edges were 85% intact. Today it's looking different. Trust me :) |
During this time of having the city of Chicago on lockdown, except for going out on occasion for necessities I've literally been following directives to stay put. This stuff is serious! As I get prepared for meetings via phone or with online invites, I'm always worried about if the group can see me. These are my inner thoughts:
Me: I'm not ready!
Me: It's too early!
Me: This bun is not neat.
Me: How can I make sure that no-one sees me.
Me: Let me keep this cute sticker over my camera, and know that it will not be removed.
Me: In case anyone sees around the edges of this sticker, I will place post-it notes around the front and rear facing camera in case it picks up anything when I'm using the audio. It's probably not possible, but just to be on the safe side. LOL!
Me: How do I also turn the camera off? (shout out to my friends who responded to text messages about this when I was on these conferences).
The bad part is after all of this camera covering, I walked around a corner in my house and there was my husband on a zoom call with ten people. Why????
I hope that I made you smile!
*What are y'all thinking when you get on "Zoom", "Google Hangouts" or other video platforms? Is your hair neat? Are you leaving the camera on?*
