I Finally Reached BSL Length With My Natural Hair!!

I finally reached BSL length!! I'm so excited.  It's a milestone when I think back to cutting my hair down to 6 inches in December 2008.  I stopped measuring continuously, but I remember when I first cut my hair short I measured frequently to see how fast it grew.
 Well here I am and it's almost 2 years after my BC (Big chop- removing all hair with perm) and I'm almost back to the length that I used to be back in the day.  For those of you who aren't familiar with the term BSL, it stands for bra strap length.  There are various terms that ladies with natural hair use to describe the length of their hair and BSL is one of them. Before I reached BSL length, I was SL (shoulder length).  My next milestone may be MBL (Mid back length) and then on to WL (Waist length) if if grows that long.  It'll be interesting to see what my natural hair growth plateau will be.  I love how curly hair looks short and curly, however when stretched out it's surprising to see how long it's grown.  I'm barely BSL, however I'm there and it shows that natural hair can grow long with natural oils and some attention (TLC).
