Happy Easter!- 3 Generations of Naturals

Happy Easter!  Today was a day of church, family, kids, and pics.  I'm grateful to have some time with my mother.  She got down in the kitchen by preparing a meal of greens, ham, chicken, corn bread, apple cobbler, chocolate cake.  I truly think I gained 10 lbs. today.  There's truly no place like home- at my 1st home- with my mom.

Here's the 411 on our natural hair in the pic above.  My mom has always worn her hair naturally as long as I can remember.  When I asked how she styled her hair, she said that she applied some gel, vaseline, and brushed it with her nylon brush.  I'm not going to lie, my mom used vaseline on my hair also as a kid and it thrived.  Her hair still looks awesome, in fact I thought she had mastered a braidout.  I'm wearing my hair in a braidout, which is styled with a new gel.  I'll share soon!  My daughter's hair is braided across the front and pulled up into a puff.

Natural hair is thriving among 3 generations.

How many generations of naturals exist in your fam?
