One Product, One Style, One Love- Tresemme Naturals Conditioner

Hey curlies, I'm sending a shout out to "Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner" on today.  I used it as the only product to twist my daughter's hair on this past Saturday.  She attends a swimming class on Saturdays and when she got out of the pool I washed her hair, conditioned, rinsed, and applied Tresemme naturals conditioner throughout her hair.  I parted her hair into 3 sections.  First I parted two sections in the front and then parted a large section in the back.  I started in the back section underneath and grabbed small sections to twist toward the back.  I then began twisting the front sections downward and to the side that I wanted her hair to hang.  When her hair began to dry before done, I just sprayed the section with a little water from a spray bottle.

Her hair shrank considerably since it was done on wet hair, however I knew that her style would be a blessing since she's out of school for her fall break this week.  This simply means, that she can sleep late, and mommy doesn't have to comb or style her hair this week.  We just apply a little oil, or I spray it with water and apply oil if it looks a little dry.  Since I didn't apply a gel, I noticed that her hair shows a little more frizz near the roots than it would have if I'd applied gel.  I like it though, as it still looks pretty decent for day 4.  I may let her rock a twist out for a few days, or I may just leave it twisted and take it down after she swims on this Saturday. Here are a few more pics of her two strand twists and her length ( which is near waist length when stretched and not twisted, and mid back when stretched and twisted).
natural hair shrinkage is amazing!

Barettes to match her clothes adds a cute girlie accent

Tresemme Naturals is truly a cool way to do a simple a natural style.  One product, one style, one love... from a mom that is enjoying the simplicity of minimal style upkeep on my daughters natural hair.

  1. Your hair is beautify and so is your daughter's. Shrinkage is amazing because as you know it makes your hair look almost 1/2 the length it is!
