I had a laughable moment at the cash register the other day. I went to Jewel to grab a few groceries and remembered that I had a half a bottle of conditioner left. I grabbed two bottles of Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut Conditioner and a few groceries and proceeded to the check out counter. The cashier stopped after ringing one bottle and said, "You know that you have 2 bottles of conditioner right". I laughed and explained that I use conditioner as a leave-in and that I didn't intend to purchase shampoo. For some reason I didn't feel the need to explain that I also frequently co-wash my hair with conditioner as well. I think the conversation would have resulted in a blank stare and additional questions, and I didn't want to hold up the line. I graciously told her thank you, because she did check to make sure that I didn't forget the shampoo.
I wish the cashier would have told me that a few months ago, when I mistakenly purchased a shampoo and conditioner. I almost mistakenly co-washed with a shampoo and then almost put it back in my hair as a leave-in conditioner on another occasion. Both bottles look exactly alike. Whew! I don't need that kind of error. LOL!
Have you ever been asked if you forgot your shampoo (especially for those co-washers out there)? Do tell about the conversations at the cash register.
LOL, I had a moment (not too long ago) where I mistakenly grabbed a Suave Naturals conditioner instead of shampoo. But, no cashier has ever asked me.
ReplyDeleteSo it sounds like you had the opposite situation, because you intended to get shampoo and grabbed a conditioner. Whether intentional or not I guess the bottom line is that we attempt to purchase what works for us, even though there might be a mishap every now and then. Good no one asked questions cause you might have held up the line. LOL!
DeleteLOL, yes indeed!
