One of my favorite healthy and low-fat meals for breakfast is greek yogurt dressed with a few toppings. It's quick and easy to make. It's my healthy version of what true "cookies and cream" should taste like. Here's the 411:
Ingredients
-Greek Yogurt

I typically purchase Fage at Sam's, Club however this week I noticed that they only had the large container of Chobani, so I will be giving it a try today. |
-Granola

I purchase Kimberly's Granola at Sam's. It's higher in fat than the brand below, however the flavor is amazing! It's a combination of cranberries, raisins, almonds, walnuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, crunchy rice, oats, and honey. I just use less than 1 serving for this one.

-Fruit of choice (e.g. blueberries, strawberries, raspberries) if desired.
-Measuring Cups
Directions
1. Measure 1 cup of greek yogurt (it's filling, so if you don't need that much try 1/2 cup).
2. Measure a serving of granola (depending on brand 1/4 cup or 1/3 cup- adjust as needed).
3. Sprinkle with your fruit of choice, such as blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, etc.
4. Eat and enjoy!
I can't even begin to describe the flavor, it's just amazing!
P.S. Measuring Cups come in handy when measuring portion sizes. When something tastes good, my biggest problem is going back for seconds and thirds. Measuring helps me track my portions as I continue this journey of trying to eat right the majority of the time.
Enjoy your breakfast, but first tell me, What do you put on your yogurt?
