Every 7 years my husband and I tend to redecorate a room or 2, especially the Living Room. Before we had children all of our furniture was cream. After we had children, we redecorated in brown leather. Well two years ago, I fell in love with gray and yellow color schemes. I looked at Pinterest and frequently googled gray and yellow living room setups. We had patched our brown leather coach with a few patches, but now we felt ready for a new combo in our Living Room. It took me a few years to convince my husband that gray leather would look great. It's a great option, in lieu of brown or black. The week before I purchased my couch I went to
Ross,
Marshalls,
Target,
Walgreens Photo, and
Bed Bath & Beyond, and went through every decorating area to find accents for a gray leather couch. I found curtains, silver picture frames, silver storage boxes, and curtains at Ross. I found large yellow pillows and smaller pillows with gray and yellow at Target. I found additional gray accent pillows at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I purchased my sectional the next week from
The Room Place. They have great quality furniture that lasts.

I absolutely love my new living room! My husband and children do also! This is the most comfortable couch ever, and every set of seating reclines, except for the stand alone 2 seater. The love seat and couch has reclining seats. I love it when a space comes together. It should feel like a retreat, a place of rest and relaxation when you get home. I also went to Walgreens and had family photos done in black and white and printed in poster size to fit 2 large frames. My family photos serve as part of the art in the living room, however blend in with the decor. I truly love the living room. The gray furniture with yellow accents along with family photos in black and white just make me smile from the inside!
