Miss Jessie's Is Giving Away Samples At The Black Caucus

I'm attending the "Black Caucus" on today.  For those of you who aren't aware of this annual event let me explain.  It's held in Washington, D.C. every September.  It provides conferences, seminars, and discussions to facilitate ideas to address critical issues affecting African American communities.  As an owner of a Speech Therapy private practice, I enjoy listening to topics related to entrepreneurship and the opportunity to meet new people.  My husband has spoken at this event many times over the past years and I wanted to also be there to support him.

When our flight arrived today, we attended the exhibit hall.  Among the wealth of health information and screenings, financial info., African Art, vehicles, and African Authors, was the "Miss Jessie's" table.  I was so excited to see products for natural hair.  I've never used Miss Jessie's products, however I just felt excited when they handed me a bag of goodies.  I received samples of "Curly Pudding", "Super Slip Sudsy Shampoo", and the "Super Sweet back Treatment".  Recently, I've seen several naturals wearing twists or a moisturized wash and go.  When I asked these women what product they used they said "Miss Jessie's".  Of course there are tons of other products out there, however it seems to have a great result on the naturals whom I've seen using their products.

The guys that were handing out samples were walking commercials.  They had gorgeous hair thanks to Miss Jessie's products.   He uses curly pudding to achieve his defined curls and baby buttercreme to moisturize his twist as he takes them down for a twistout.  I even learned some tips from the young man on the right of me in the photo above.  He actually gave me a tip for twistouts.  He recommended adding 2 or 3 additional twists near the base of the hairline, near the nape area to elongate a twistout.  I typically do braidouts, however I declare I'm going to add 2 additional braids to catch that back hair and give my braidout a little more hang.  I will be trying out my new products soon, and will definitely let you all know the results.  If it looks anything like the representatives hair above, my hair will be shiny and defined.  If you didn't hear me let me say it once more "Miss Jessie's" is Giving away free samples at the Black Caucus."  Yall can tell I'm excited about a sample any day.  Now I just hope that I win that IPAD2 in the raffle at the table down from Miss Jessies!
