Natural Amazement Viewing The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial

Hi curlies, I had such a wonderful time in D.C. on last week.  I had one moment to get away and view the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.  This was so memorable!  The statue is huge and stands at 30 feet tall.  It was truly a blessing to be able to view this beautiful statue of a minister, teacher, activist, and one of the main leaders in the fight against segregation.  As you walk around there are several walls with his words of wisdom on them.  The photo below shows one of those walls.

Oh, and I know this is blog that's generally about natural hair so let me add a note.  I wore my hair in a braidout.  It was actually warm and humid in Washington, D.C. last week and my curls swelled, but I didn't mind one bit.  I love big hair! and I was to excited about viewing the memorial to care about anything else.
