One Reason To Buy A New Hooded Hairdryer
I had to unexpectedly purchase a new hooded hairdryer. The reason being, it mysteriously came up broken and no one in the house seems to know who did it. I previously kept my hooded dryer in my den. Even though it's a den/ workout room, the kids spent a lot of time in there in the summer playing video games. I air dry my hair most of the time in the summer, so I hadn't used it to much. When I went downstairs I noticed that the dryer that I'd had for the past 5+ years was broken. When I say broken, I mean the hood was detached from the base and the base was broken. This happened about a month ago, and to this day neither of my children have admitted who the responsible party was for this particular incident. Long story short, I had to purchase a new dryer. I like to have it on hand even in the summer, in case I don't have time to airdry, I can sit under the dryer and give my hair about 20 minutes of cool or warm air and my hair is practically dry with no drippies.
I found this hooded hair dryer at Sally's Beauty Supply. I purchased my previous hooded dryer from there as well, however I previously purchased a "Babybliss. My new dryer is made by Modern Elements, and so far, so good. I moved a reclining chair from a corner in my bedroom and placed my hooded hair dryer there. I needed a cute chair, so I made this makeshift one. I found my kids old "SpiderMan" chair in the garage, and decided that rather than throw it out, I could repurpose it. I added two satin pillowcases and created a quick fix, by making this chair feel sleek.
It even matches the scarf on my curtains. I love this little corner by the window, where I can sit, read, dry my hair, and see the sun. I'm also glad that I now have a new hooded hair dryer that works well.
